Guidelines for abstracts submission

ATTENTION: The deadline for manuscripts submission is July 25, 2024.

All works must be typed in Word 6.0 or a newer version, or in a similar program, and must be submitted in .doc or .docx. Only those works in which at least one of the authors pays the registration fee by September 13, 2024 will be accepted and processed for the Annals, when the author(s) will already be aware of the acceptance of their work. . There will be no exceptions.

Guidelines for preparing simple abstracts

The abstract must be a maximum of 1 page, using Times New Roman 12 font, A4 paper size, single space between lines, and all margins 2.5 cm. Limit space includes title, authors’ names and affiliations, as well as possible acknowledgments to funding agencies and approval from ethics committees for research with animals or humans.

The abstract must have the following items: Title (bold, up to 15 words); Author(s); Institution of the author(s); and Email of the main author. The content of the abstract must contain: brief introduction, objectives, methodology, results and short conclusion, in the form of plain text, up to 3 keywords and Acknowledgments (optional). Propose which session you prefer. Propose which form of presentation you prefer, oral or poster. It should not contain citations and bibliographic references.

Guidelines for preparing expanded abstracts

The expanded abstract must be written in Portuguese, Spanish or English, with a maximum of 3 pages, using Times New Roman 12 font, A4 paper size, single space between lines, all margins 2.5 cm. Limit space includes title, authors’ names and affiliations, as well as possible acknowledgments to funding agencies and approval from ethics committees for research with animals or humans.

The Title must be written in bold with up to 15 words, with Times New Roman 14 font. The name(s) of the Author(s) must be written in bold, Times New Roman 12 font, separated by a period and comma (;), followed by the address of the author(s) responsible for correspondence, starting with the name of the institution to which they are linked.

The abstract must have the following items: Title (bold); Author(s); Institution of the author(s); and Email of the main author. The content of the abstract must contain the following items: Simple abstract; Key words; Introduction; Justification; Goals; Methodology; Results and Discussion and Conclusion; and Acknowledgments (optional). It must contain citations and bibliographic references within the space limit (3 pages).
